Fr Xavier Khan and Miracle of Rosa Mystica

Weeping Mother Mary

In August 2006 a servant of God who came to Sehion Retreat Center for retreat presented a picture of our Lady of Rosa Mystica which shed Blood Tears, to Rev. Fr. Xavier khan Vattayil, the Director of Sehion. 

Moved by a Divine inspiration Fr. Xavier Khan arranged a bigger reprint of 6 feet height of the same picture and blessed it and placed the picture in a small shed at the entrance of the compound. 

He named it as Mariankoodaram, a chapel, dedicated to our Lady of Rosa Mystica, where a group of intercession team incessantly pray for the conversion of sinners and Evangelisation of the world from, dawn till late at night, by reciting the Holy Rosary.

Our Lady shed tears from 4th to 8th September 2006

This is one among the many intercession centers in the compound. Besides, Fr. Khan and Sehion team also used to pray before this picture whenever time permitted. It was from this picture that Our Lady shed tears from 4th to 8th September 2006.

As usual, on September 4th 2006 the member in charge of the intercession group entered the chapel for cleaning and arrangements. She approached the picture to touch and venerate and to their utter surprise she saw tears running down from the eyes of the picture. Immediately the news spread all around. Many of the Rev. Fathers and Rev. Sisters rushed to the spot all on a sudden and witnessed this miracle.

Holy Rosary recited day and night by Palakkad Diocese

Hearing this news people from every part of Palakkad Diocese and from other dioceses far and wide came to witness this and pray. His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Jacob Manathodath, who happened to be at Attappady on some official visit, also came to Mariankoodaram and prayed before the picture. 

Since this miracle many people have come over here and shared there grievances before this picture of Our Lady of Rosa Mistica and have experienced miraculous relief from than sicknesses and have obtained several blessings. 

Now Holy Rosaries are being recited day and night for the whole world. 

Another Miracle of Rosa Mystica from Kottayam, Kerala, India

This family was suffering from lot of diseases and other difficulties. Albin, a partially blind small boy was the first person to catch glimpse of this miracle.
In his total astonishment, he called his mother, a brain tumour patient to see this miracle. It was a view beyond their human imagination. Blood was pouring out from eyes of the picture of Rosa Mystica.

Albin was cured of braintumour - The partially blind boy and his mother who was suffering from brain tumour was cured after this incident. The smell of fragrance enveloped their whole house.

Hearing the news of this miracle, people came out in large numbers to their small house to see this miracle. In order to control the situation, the picture of Rosa Mystica (blood pouring) was taken to their Parish Church at Erumely for the public veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The family was gifted with another picture of Rosa Mystica for prayer by a priest . After few days, blood came out from the second picture of Rosa Mystica too. To avoid any controversies, the second picture of Rosa Mystica was also taken off from that family by the priest who gifted it to them.

Miracle Continues - Another picture of the Rosa Mystica was again given to them for prayers by the same priest. But the miracle continued in the third picture too. This brought faithful from all walks of life and distant places to the small house and the news went across the seas.

Hearing this miracle, a statue of Rosa Mystica was also gifted to them from Germany by one of the faithful. Soon the statue also became an instrument in the miracle. From the statue of Rosa Mystica also miracles started to happen in the form of oil,honey, and milk.

In the presence of hundreds of people - These miracles happened in the presence of hundreds of people and live video was also taken by persons who wants get a scientific opinion about these miracles. At present the picture and statue of Rosa Mystica are kept in the house itself for the benefit of the humble family and the faithful, but locked in a glass chamber by the priests in order to make sure that, it is out of any corruption and human touch.

Only priests are allowed to open the glass chambers to change the plates. But even today, the Miracle continues..... please watch the video link. Pictures and statues are just hand made things and we don't have to worship or venerate it. But Divine Power is showing its mighty presence in all objects and creatures to remind all of us to live in God's presence in our earthly life.

This miracle is interpreted as a call by the Blessed Virgin Mother to all her children (that means all human mankind) to come out from the bonds of sin and adore and worship Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Even though this miracle is only a symbol of God's power, May it helps us to open up our hearts to pour the divine grace to walk His Ways.

I Cry Aloud to the Lord and He Answers Me!

This is an expression of my deep faith and hope that God is my only refuge. God who has definite plans about us gives pains, sufferings and sorrows in the path leading to that plan. 

A person turns towards God and Christ, when he is convinced that nothing human or material can save him.

Jesus - Please reveal me your plan

“My God, My Lord, talk to me, I cannot take even one step forward, please guide me. Why have you given me sufferings, pains and sorrows? Lord, please reveal to me your plan about me.” 

When we cry loud like this, God will reveal himself to us. We will be convinced that these sufferings are to find God and to lift us to heaven.

Temporary happiness

Human plans are temporary—temporary happiness, safety for the time being, good name, fame, human approval, wealth…But God’s plan is forever. 

God gives us sufferings to teach justice. 
Therefore one who becomes fit for God’s love will have sufferings, weaknesses, and crosses. Giving all this He keeps us closer to Him. 

We must find time during the period of suffering to listen to God’s voice and to thirst for God’s love. Then we will get the grace to rise up with Jesus. We will receive blessings and strength from the Holy Spirit.

We are God's children

We’ll understand that we are God’s children. When we are in the depth of sufferings, contempt, and helplessness, sweet prayers, meditations and spiritual strength spring up.

One with Jesus

In this stage our eyes and ears are lifted to Calvary. There we can see God’s throne. We will realize the emptiness of all material aspirations.. Jesus extends in each moment of sufferings an eternal invitation to forsake sin, selfishness, and bodily comforts. God stands with us to lead us to the glory of resurrection.

“Though the Lord may give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your teacher.” (Is.30:20)

WHY SHOULD WE PROCLAIM THE WORD?

Why do we proclaim the Word to those who have not heard about it? 

Aren’t all the religions ways of salvation? 

Won’t the speaking about Jesus and trying to convert members of other religions to Christianity bring about resentment from other religious groups? 

In a country like India, should not Word Proclamation be understood in a wider perspective? 

Wasn’t the salvation brought by Jesus for the entire mankind? 

Some of these are the doubts and questions that have often been raised by people in connection with Proclaiming the Word. In this context, let us talk about the things that the Bible tells us in connection with the Word Proclamation. 

THE PURPOSE OF THE COMING OF JESUS 

Jesus came to this world with the good news for the whole world. Informing the shepherds of the birth of Jesus, the angel said, “See, I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is the Messiah, the Lord” (Lk 2:10-11). The coming of the Lord is meant for all. He is not the Saviour only of the Jews, but of the entire mankind. In the Gospel of Matthew we read of what this salvation consists of. “You are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” (Mt 1:21). 

All people are in bondage to sin. There is a necessity for all to get releases from this bondage. The entire Bible testifies to this truth and this can be clearly seen in the description given by St. Paul in his Letter to the Romans. “We have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under the power of sin, as it is written: There is no one who is righteous, not even one; there is no one who has understanding, there is no one who seeks God. All have turned aside, together they have become worth-less; there is no one who shows kindness, there is not even one”(Rom3:9 12). 

The things that the apostle says commonly for all mankind are also true in the life of individuals. Those things are real in the life of each and every one of us. “I am the flesh, sold into slavery under sin. I do not underst-and my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. …I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom7:14-25). 

In his Letter to the Galatians St. Paul testifies how a person gets salvation through faith in Christ. “We know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ” (Gal 2:16). 

On the first Pentecost Day, St. Peter told this for all the people: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).

Making it clear that it is through Jesus that all the people will get salvation, St. Peter said, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The testimonies and teachings of the apostles remain the beacons for the Church. 

If the Church deviates from these teachings, she won’t be true to the teachings of the apostles. Some years ago the Blessed Pope John Paul II sent out an Encyclical entitled Dominus Iesus. Through that he, as the Head of the Catholic Church, was only reiterating to the Catholics the traditional belief of the Church, standing firm in the teaching of the Bible. It was not a comparative study of religions by a social scientist or a historian. It was simply a reiteration of the traditional Catholic faith. 

The Pope was only carrying out his religious responsibility by reiterating this tenet. At the same time the late Pope John Paul II was a scholar, who, accepting the findings of modern theology, constantly reminded people of the principles taught by the Second Vatican Council. In the various speeches made during his celebrated world tours, he reiterated these principles. After all, the primary mission of any Pope, obviously, is faithfully propagating the teachings of Jesus. 

THE VERY WORDS OF JESUS 

After his passion, suffering and death, Jesus resurrected gloriously. He had selected a few of the apostles to continue with the mission he had initiated. “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). 

Jesus had reminded the apostles the things they had to do even before his ascension into heaven. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Mt 28:19-20). 

By proclaiming the Word, the Church is simply carrying out the instructions that the Lord had given. The things we read in the Gospel of Matthew are repeated in the Gospel of Mark.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned” (Mk 16:15-16). 

Following these instructions given by the Lord, “they went out and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it” (Mk 16:20). 

Proclaiming the Word has been something that Church has been carrying out since the time of the apostles. The Church has the right to continue with it until the Second Coming of Christ.
